Pace Tree Pros serves homeowners, HOAs, builders, and commercial properties across Pace and Santa Rosa County. From the fast-growing new subdivisions north of Highway 90 to the historic streets of downtown Milton, from rural Chumuckla to the old neighborhoods of Pea Ridge and Bagdad, our crews know the terrain, the tree species, the storm patterns, and the local utilities in each community we serve.
Below you’ll find every community we cover. To schedule service anywhere in our service area, call (801) 860-6906 or request a free quote →.
Pace
Pace is the heart of what we do. Once a small crossroads, Pace has become the fastest-growing community in Northwest Florida — from about 5,000 residents in 2010 to more than 50,000 today, spread across the 32571 ZIP code. Most of that growth pushed north into former pine woodland off Woodbine Road, Chumuckla Highway, and Bell Road, filling in subdivisions like Stonebrook Village, Lakes of Woodbine, Pace Commons, Chase Farms, and Eagles Ridge.
That growth pattern shapes our work here. On the new-construction side, we handle lot clearing, selective tree removal, and stump grinding for homesites carved out of the woods. In the established parts of Pace, we’re removing hazard trees, pulling dead and beetle-killed pines, and — importantly — doing structural pruning on the young trees that came with all those new homes, so they grow up strong instead of into a storm liability.

Pea Ridge
Pea Ridge sits just south and east of the main Pace commercial corridor, one of the older, more established parts of the Pace area. Lots here tend to be larger and more wooded than the newest subdivisions, with mature slash pines, live oaks, and water oaks that have been on the property for decades.
That older tree stock is exactly the kind that benefits from professional attention: mature oaks needing structural inspection, big pines that should be checked for beetle activity, and the occasional large removal when a tree finally gives out. Pea Ridge caught the same Hurricane Sally wind and rain as the rest of Santa Rosa County, so a post-storm look at your bigger trees is worth doing if it hasn’t been done.

Milton
Milton is the county seat of Santa Rosa County, one of the oldest towns in Florida — incorporated in 1844 — set along the Blackwater River about ten miles east of Pace. Downtown Milton is on the National Register of Historic Places, and the surrounding area runs from the historic district to larger-lot rural properties, hardwood bottomlands along the river, and pine flatwoods. Hurricane Sally hit Milton hard in 2020, with the Blackwater River reaching record flood stage and trees and lines down across town.
We serve Milton and its surrounding communities with the full range of tree work — removal, trimming, stump grinding, and storm response. Because Milton demand is strong enough to warrant its own focus, we’ve built a dedicated page for it.

Bagdad
Bagdad is a small historic community just south of Milton along the Blackwater and Pond Creek, with a mill-town history and a district full of historic homes and mature trees. The older tree canopy here — big live oaks, magnolias, and pines shading historic properties — needs careful, knowledgeable handling, not a rushed cut-and-run.
We work throughout Bagdad on removal, trimming, and stump grinding, and we understand the value of the mature trees that give the community its character. When a big tree does need to come down, we rig and lower it in controlled sections to protect the historic structures and landscaping around it.

Chumuckla
Chumuckla is a rural community north of Pace along Chumuckla Highway (County Road 197), running up into the farming country at the northern edge of the growth corridor. Properties here are large and heavily wooded — working land, pastures, and homesteads with significant stands of pine and hardwood.
Rural, wooded acreage brings its own tree needs: large removals, dead-pine clearing across a property, storm cleanup along long private drives, and lot clearing where the growth from Pace is starting to push north. We’re set up for the bigger, larger-lot jobs common in the Chumuckla area.

Santa Rosa County (Surrounding Areas)
Beyond the named communities above, we serve unincorporated Santa Rosa County broadly — the properties along Highway 90, Chumuckla Highway, Woodbine Road, and the growing subdivisions filling in between them. Whether you’re on a quarter-acre subdivision lot or several wooded acres, we can handle the removal, trimming, stump grinding, and storm work your property needs.
Many properties out here run on private wells and septic rather than city utilities, and we plan every removal and stump grind around those systems so nothing gets damaged.
